It makes me feel safe and allows me at least partial oral communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Besides the additional possibility to eat and drink, the nasal mask has another, very decisive advantage over the nose-mouth mask. By opening the mouth and palate, I can build up overpressure in the throat, through which I can transport a large part of the secretion upwards. Durch \u00d6ffnen von Mund und Gaumen kann ich einen \u00dcberdruck im Hals aufbauen, \u00fcber den ich Sekret zu einem gro\u00dfen Teil nach oben bef\u00f6rdern kann.
