To apply the fentanyl spray, turn my head in the centre and bend it until the cannula touches my neck. Then spray "not hesitantly" as vertically upwards as possible. The spray is actually intended for use when standing. Paddy's Health

New prescription from Dr GP: warm curd soap bath 1-2 times a day. Then just rinse with water and spray once with Octenisept. Allow to air dry and leave alone. No further cleaning, no dressing. Appointment arranged for Tuesday 14 May to check progress and assess stoma. Paddy's Health

As the wound site is not getting any better at 9 o'clock and paratracheal suctioning is now unbearable, we have decided not to use it for the time being. Subglottic suctioning instead if necessary. Paddy's Health
