The third and last exercise in this series requires no effort at all, but achieves even more. This is about the positioning, which is ideally done after the other exercises.

I lie on my back as usual, with my head turned to the right.

Normally my arms lie relatively parallel to my body. For this position, however, my armpit is stretched and supported from inside or behind.

You simply stuff one of the small soft pillows into the armpit. The pillow reaches slightly under the shoulder blade for the greatest effect. But it doesn't have to, even if the pillow is only in the arm, this leads to a real improvement that can be felt all the way into the neck.

This way I can comfortably endure half an hour, an hour or maybe even several hours. Especially when it hurts acutely, this positioning is a great way to get by without painkillers for a long time. And you really don't need any physiotherapeutic training or anything like that. So no one can use this excuse to avoid it.
