Meanwhile, my physio is pretty much the only occasion at all when my legs are mobilised. That's not enough. And it shows.

I'm losing my mobility, my muscles are atrophying anyway due to the disease, the ligaments and tendons or whatever is all there are shortening so much that I can't push my heels up to my butt anymore. Looking back, I remember that four years ago (August 2018) I was still able to get both legs behind my head at the same time. Yes, I also trained such exercises to ¨stay fit. ?

The starting position is, as so often, on the back.

In principle, you have a free hand in what you do. For example, you can just put your legs up a bit so that my knees form an acute angle.

A little stretching does no harm. On the contrary, it does me good and I find it very pleasant.

Gently slide your feet towards your bottom, starting from the previous position. You'll know when it's too much, you don't have to worry. I'll scream.

Also a really nice option for in-between, where you don't even really have to do anything, is to put my legs at 45 degrees (knees are then at right angles) and support my legs with so many pillows until they can't fall over anymore. Just stuff everything you can find underneath. I won't win a beauty prize anyway. ?
