When writing my article about the inconceivable atrocities of Nestlé my blog suggested that I might like the review of the Volcano Medic 2 by Storz and Bickl, er, sorry, by Vapormed - wink wink - (find it, by the way here). But hello, and how he does it. At the time, there were a lot of questions about it from the ALS community on Facebook. I answered many of them directly there, but there were a few topics I wanted to take up again specifically and answer in more detail. As is often the case, I still intend to do so, but never get around to it. I don't really lack the time. But I do lack the capacity. Pneumonia as a 24-hour NIV ventilator, three days of abdominal cramps with really nasty nausea for a long time (especially tasty with a full-face mask, I always feel something is wrong with me.

And in between, a visit to the last few days, heidernei, Herzogenaurach, Schwabach, Zorneding, Egmating, Spain, Italy, China, ... it's a miracle that I can still look straight ahead at all.

There. It's been a few weeks since the text. And did I use the free time to write? Yes, I did. The result is a four-part essay on how Nestlé is systematically destroying our planet. Smoking pot? I did. Writing about it? Just starting to. For today, I would like to revisit the questions that I was unable to answer, or only half-answer, at the time.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]What a brilliant site here!

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]Hello Jens, well, that's quite something. A distinguished visitor to my blog. How cool, I'm glad.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]We, the ALS-mobil e.V., have a direct enquiry on this point here.

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]I love being a smart arse. Keep your questions coming.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]As a rule, THC is prescribed and used in the form of Dronabinol oil or Sativex spray.

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]Indeed. I had read a lot about dronabinol and the like beforehand, but I hadn't been able to gain any experience of my own. The dosage doesn't seem so trivial to me. Tolerance is not necessarily good either. Which is something you can't say about classic "weed". The only side effect is that I eat more, to everyone's delight.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]Directly as it "should be", to smoke weed ergo inhalation rather rare, at the latest with NIV ventilation..... Rarely, but still practised.

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]Right. If someone doesn't like the smell and flavour, okay. One of my best friends gets downright nauseous as soon as he enters my flat and I'm smoking. Then the drops might be an alternative.

But I like the smell, the taste, the feeling of smoking. And I am a pleasure person. So give me a reason that speaks in favour of drops. Why shouldn't I combine what is useful with what is enjoyable? And as you say quite rightly, the way it should be.

I first had a Vapormed Mighty. When it no longer worked with the draw, I switched to the Volcano. I knew the Volcano with the hose from before. The balloons were new to me. They've come in handy since I'm on a 24/7 ventilator and can't smoke even with the Volcano's turbine. So as far as the smoking technique as such is concerned, I was forced to change the methodology. I can't manage to smoke anymore even with the (actively ventilating) Volcano. So we built a "Cannabis NIV Injection" out of PEG transfer systems that a friend gave me from leftover stocks and pump sets from ebay.... What a cool title. For the article.

Joking aside, it really is like that. Now we fill the balloons with the inhalate and then fill that into the water chamber of the humidifier. There, where you could also connect oxygen instead of at the machine. This way the machine remains protected by the HMI filter, or comparable, and the steam goes unfiltered into my lungs. So that's exactly what we want to achieve. It's just a bit of tinkering to build a suitable connector from the end of a PEG transfer system, a cut piece of hose from the aspirator (fits into the connections of the balloons) and Fixomull. Once again, I seem to be the only one who does it this way. Otherwise there would be a technical solution.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]As a result, we at least lack experience ala Sorte?

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]Okay, the PZN is still missing. It'll be here tomorrow, I promise. These are pure flowers from Canopy. So that's what you get in pretty much every coffeeshop in Amsterdam.

Update: The exact name is "CANNABISBLÜTEN LSK 16 20G, RP 20.00 g St" and has the PZN 6460665. But we wouldn't be in Germany if it were that simple. The variety is missing, it's not on the pharmacy's delivery note. I'll have to ask again. In any case, they are 100% pure flowers. The smell in my flat reminds me of my best student days. The effect is clearly perceptible, but doesn't immediately send you into nirvana. For example, I stopped using Scopoderm (scopolamine patches) against the strong salivation and prefer to smoke 0.2 grams. I can work afterwards just as I did before. Besides, who can say if I'm high or if it takes that long to type with my eyes.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]Vaporisation temperature? Effect temperature-dependent? ... and so on.

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]The effect definitely depends on the temperature. This is purely my personal experience. I feel an effect from around 180 degrees Celsius. But I like it more at 200 degrees. I find the vapour more pleasant and the effect stronger. At 210 degrees the weed chars too quickly, although the first bag that is filled is really good. I smoke 0.1 grams per two bags and 0.2 to 0.3 grams per three, sometimes four bags.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]Can you & would you like to help? Directly or as a blog post (which the carer can type?)

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]Please thank you.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]Apart from that, a quick question: 20 types of alcohol?

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]I think it should have said more than 200. Or 20 types of gin. That would be within the realms of the imaginable.

[su_label type="warning"]ALS-mobil e.V.[/su_label]best regards from us in Berlin & extra greetings from the admin - PFK himself

[su_label type="default"]Paddy[/su_label]And best wishes from the south of Germany. No, not Mallorca. Just a small town through which the Isar flows. And not Munich either. Even further down. And much, much smaller. Wink smiley.
