The mask change is probably the topic that stresses everyone out the most. I have therefore described every single step in detail and illustrated everything with photos of myself.
If you follow these four principles, nothing can go wrong:
- Keep calm. In calmness lies strength.
- The machine always stays on.
- Masks are always placed on the nose first, held and put into operation so that I can breathe. You can make it nice and straighten the straps later, but first I'd like to breathe. ?
- Everything from the ventilator to the mask is always available in duplicate, ready for use. And if the individual parts of mask 1 just fly around our ears, so what, then you just hold mask 2 up to my nose.
