Daily/after each use:
- Disassemble the mask before cleaning according to the instructions.
- Soak the mask cushion and kneepad in warm water (approx. 30 °C) and a mild detergent for up to 10 minutes, moving them around.
- Clean the components with a soft brush, paying particular attention to the small exhalation openings on the elbow.
- Rinse all components with warm running drinking water.
- Visually inspect each component to ensure that it is clean and has no detergent residue. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
- Allow the components to air dry out of direct sunlight before assembling.
- Personal addition on my part: After assembling, check all parts for completeness and intactness. Since I have been in possession of my first nose mask, not a single month has gone by without problems due to missing or incorrectly assembled parts. It would be nice if we could eliminate such really avoidable problems.
Weekly:
- Soak the headgear and frame that you have previously taken apart in warm water (approx. 30 °C) and a mild detergent for up to 10 minutes, moving them around.
- Rinse the components under warm running drinking water until all detergent residues are removed.
- Squeeze the excess water out of the headgear.
- Allow the components to air dry out of direct sunlight before assembling.
