Advertising on my blog again. For a good reason. I think I need to add at least two more zeros to my monthly sales figures to make it economically worthwhile. To make it worthwhile ecologically, I need to sell much, much more. Sounds strange, but it's true.

The primary aim of my shop is to protect the rainforest. For every item sold, 1m² Rainforest protected. Let's say I sell 10,000 T-shirts this year. I can save myself the shop and simply donate €10,000 myself. Then I even save the running costs of the shop.

Would I do that? No, of course not. I don't do it for the money. I'm motivated by other things. It's two past twelve. Humanity must finally wake up and realise that the time is long past. Here and now it's about damage limitation.

Every purchase in my shop makes a measurable This is our contribution to getting a little closer to our big common goal with Wilderness International - to buy up the 2.8% of intact habitat that still exists on earth by 2050 and place it under protection. Because talking and making plans, as we have been doing for the last forty years, will not get us anywhere. Now is the time for action.
